The powder magazine ignites during the Siege of Fort Erie Reenactment at Historic Fort Erie in Ontario, Canada.  When this happened for real during the morning of August
15, 1814, 350 British troops that had stormed the fort were instantly killed along with numerous American soldiers that were in that section of the fort trying to defend it.
It is because of this that Fort Erie is the bloodiest battlefield on Canadian soil.
